Not being ignorant but What is Toe. CV Pav and all the other initials people Use

TOE = trans oesophageal echocardiogram. They put a camera down your throat to look at your heart with ultrasound.

CV = cardioversion, more properly DCCV Direct current cardioversion. They shock your heart to re-boot the natural pacemaker.

SVT= supra ventricular tachycardia= rapid heart beat with signals coming from above the ventricle.

I have known about a .f .

Welcome, Rhetta and Angela. Follow the forum and it won't take you long to become familiar with the world of AF. None of us want AF in our lives but the more we learn the faster we gain control of it.

Very helpful, now I can research terms .my Ecg machine,what's its name gives index of common heart rhythms.very new to all this, but feel better with more knowledge. Still got A.f...of course
