Yes definitely, my doctor prescribes Uvistat 50. You shouldn't have any problem. I love being out in the sun, so plastering myself with Uvistat suits me.
My garden faces South so up goes the Parasol to keep in the shade. Oh make sure you keep the scalp of your head covered, the sun really makes it very sore.

I was told by pharmacist at my hospital that factor 50 is available for those on Amiodarone

If you are someone who has to pay for prescriptions, check whether it would be cheaper just to buy the sunblock yourself OTC.
