Stroke has a new indicator.

I have just had a Facebook note about stroke detection. Unfortunately I do not have the skill to copy it on to you all but I can tell you what is written.

A Neurologist says that if he can see a patient within 3 hours then he can totally reverse the effects.

In addition to the normal signs the patient should be asked to put his tongue out. If it is "crooked"' ie if it is to the left or the right then that is the indicator.

This is very easy to remember and is potentially more useful than other indicators.

TV advertisement says something along those lines... The first 10 mins of signs get medical intervention straight away -not so easy though if you are alone or whatever....
