Thankyou I am keeping this on file it answers questions which I can take on board when I am home with a stunned feeling of what was all the stuff they were doing in hospital. Its simple in its explanation too.

Thanks very much - this answered some questions I had about a hospital admission last autumn with chest pain and palpitations, as well as showing me how to read an ECG and understanding atrial flutter, though I have PAF, for which it gives a list of possible causes, three of which, at least, relate to me.
