Hi Barnes
Yes is the answer, although they are very unlikely to stop you driving unless you have episodes which make you blackout.
It's confusing as the guide to doctors says do not notify, but the guide to drivers says that you must notify.
I filled in a form sent it off and a few weeks later they came back with fine keep driving
Ian
Yes...but did they put your insurance up???
I found the same as Ian- no increase in Insurance
Ditto here. Informed DVLA with form H1. EP told me I was fine to drive and also that I did NOT need to inform DVLA, but I did anyhow. I also emailed the insurers who said they didn't want to know unless the doc thought I could not drive. DVLA wrote back to say I could keep my licence !!!
Koll
Ditto, exactly the same as Koll.
Ditto, same here, form H1 is what you need. It's on the DVLA website.
Lis
Yes, the same as all the posers above for me, including the same when I got my pacemaker - no increase in insurance and no problem re dvla and driving.
Thats good to know...coz the amount I drive is very small.....and an increase would seem unfair...I will look out that form
