Hi dear

Welcome to forum Fatima

I don't think warfarin is causing fatigue even I heard that complain a lot here, I'm on warfarin since 13 years ago and for ever due to my mechanical valve, I had rash as side effect in the first few weeks only , other side effects where mainly the heavy monthly period , gum bleeding and easy to have blue spots on the skin.

My advise try to keep your diet stable as much as possible , and expect changes in INR when you start any new medication or supplement .

Why are you on warfarin ? And are you on other medication ? Usually tired is a symptom for AF or side effect for beta blocker

Hi Fatima

Yes unusual to be the warfarin as Maitha says, usually the tiredness will come from the underlying condition which causes you to be prescribed warfarin, A Fib?

If you have a diagnosis of A Fib then welcome to the feeling tired club

Hi Fatima and welcome to our forum. I agree with what Beancounter and Maitha have said above, it's more likely to be your AF that is causing your tiredness and not the warfarin. Before I had my AF diagnosed and any medication my main symptom was extreme tiredness.

We are all here to offer support, so fire away with any questions you may have, there's usually someone in this forum who will have experienced the same as you.

Hi Fatima,

I agree with all of the comments above. I was diagnosed with AF approx 18 months ago, and been on warfarin since then. Just had my first ablation (and subsequent cardioversion) two weeks ago, and the fatigue I was suffering up that time is rapidly disappearing, but for the moment I am still on my warfarin! Suggest it is probably the AF that is causing your tiredness. Do you also get short of breath? That might be another tell-tale sign.
