Are Ectopic beats notifiable to the DVLA?

Since ectopic beats are something everybody gets I doubt DVLA are interested..IF on the other hand they are part of a more complex arrhythmia such as AF then that arrhythmia is probably notifiable. If you have been diagnosed with AF in the ;past you should have notified them anyway.

Thanks Bob, apparently it's just frequent ectopics, nothing else.

If you have never had a diagnosis of AF or any other notifiable conditions then don't bother telling them but if the condition affects your driving then you obviously should.

Hi there, AF in itself is not reportable to the DVLA if it is not a disabling condition, I would suggest therefore that if like myself all you have is AF then they do not wish to know, I would suggest you also mention to your insurers when travelling that it is only AF as they usually assume that you have other heart complications and so the price goes up.
