Until my new drugs I was getting ectopics all the time, my pulse was all over the place. And my heart would wobble/shake mildly after eating and when lying down. Don't know whether that was ectopics or something else? When I got the shakes after meals and lying down, I just ignored it and it'd go away after 15-30 minutes.
To try and get rid of it, I just kept changing drugs till we found one that worked which was Disopyramide for me. Don't get much if anything now (yet!). But not sure mine is just ectopics!

Nothing. We all get them even "normal people " up to 200 a day. The only time you need to worry is when they start joining together. I had about three months last year when they were doing two beats miss one all the time and went back on my old drugs for AF. Arranged a 24 hour monitor so my EP could see what was going on and the week before that they stopped and haven't come back. They are very off putting for sure and make sleep difficult as you keep feeling your heart "stop" but provided that your BPM overall doesn't drop too low they are not life threatening.

Hi. I am taking flecanide 100mg x2 which has completely stopped the A. F but every few days I have quite a few missed beats. Nothing like before but as they were usually a fore runner to A.F. I must admit to feeling a little anxious. For now I have decided to ignore them as long as the A.F.stays away. I believe it is normal to have these but I would also appreciate feedback from others. X
Thank you for all your postings it helps to know what to do, to read that some of you get anxious is how I feel when this happens ! I'm more laid back about it these days, blood test on Tue it's 1.3 so we shall see.
