I was just recently diagnosed with Afib they have put me on 100 mg of Flecainide and 25mg of Digoxin medicine gave me high blood pressure

is any one else having this problem on these medications, my blood pressure used to be 91/62 but now it is sometimes 158/118, a little concerned.

Hi have been on both meds and didn't affect my bp. Our blood pressures vary every minute of every day so you can take it many times a day and depending on what you are doing you can get a wide range. If you are worried see your gp.

Thank you for responding..yes i get a wide varity of readings but all are on the higher side regardless of activity...go back on the 6th so hopefully we can figure it out thank you again for responding

Hi bpm, both flec and digoxin should be reducing your BP and heart rate.

Do you have a series or measurements all high? If so go back and see the cardio.

Thank you for your kind response..it seems to stay in the higher range they have put me on Htcz to help control BP but now my heart rate increases again..I go back to see my doc on the 6Th so i am hoping we can figure this out..thank you again
