It depends on your diagnosis and treatment. There's nothing in your profile, so no one can answer.
Discuss having 3 years of ADT with 2 years of Zytiga.
If everything works well and there were not distant mets the PSA should not increase when your testosterone recovers after stopping the 3 years of ADT.
wow
That’s exactly my treatment plan.
Just don’t understand nadir.
After radiation therapy as primary treatment of localized PC the nadir is determined when the testosterone recovers after finishing the ADT usually given with the radiation.
Testosterone will increase and the PSA will increase since the prostate is still present. The PSA eventually will stabilize. This value is considered the nadir.
If there is not cancer left in the body this value will remain stable or oscillate.
If the PSA increases more than 2 points over the nadir it is considered a BCR in the absence of a prostate infection.
Your situation is different, since you had a radical prostatectomy. If all the cancer was destroyed with the RP and the radiation your PSA nadir, having normal testosterone values should be undetectable since you do not have a prostate.
Don't fear your nadir will appear...........
