Is there any way you can rebuild muscles that have atrophied from 2 years of having no cholesterol.

I never heard that lack of cholesterol atrophies muscle

I'm sorry. I meant no TESTOSTERONE.

How low was your cholesterol? Mine is 120-140 and doesn't seem to affect me much.

Lack of testosterone, on the other hand... But I think you'd be dead before you managed to reduce cholesterol enough to deplete all of your T.

Ok. No T will destroy muscle and also helps gain fat. Sucks. Working out should help decrease the bad changes.

Yes it is the absence of testosterone that makes it so hard, even with regular resistance training. The body just does not respond to it the same. It is called sarcopenia. If it is reasonable to use intermittent rather than continuous ADT for you it can help if your T recovers, or replace it with TRT on your so-called ADT vacations, the muscles can respond and recover rapidly. Medical oncologists are not often oriented to how important it is to maintain a healthy body overall and balance that with the priority of fighting the cancer. Only other thing coming will be SARM treatment. But not known fully which of these can be reasonably be used without compromising ADT. RSH1 has researched this extensively. Many of us are using cyclic alternations of high testosterone alternating with ADT, various regimens of modified BAT. None considered SOC.
