Advice on Which Medication to use to ease the pain in Femur, Groin and hips caused by Bone Mets..Blessings

The best way to control bone mets pain is to control prostate cancer better. If not possible then there are pain killers like opiates (morphine, Oxycodon etc_ and some men on this forum have said in past that Medical Marijuana helped them.

Lots of Norco.Later added CBD drops under tongue and slowly backed off Norco. Worked for ME.

We’ve been fighting the bone pain for 5 years. Currently on 50mcg fentanyl patch and OxyContin for breakthrough pain. We’ve tried cannabis with varying results. Unfortunately he got no relief from chemo. Have not tried radiation as his doctor doesn’t seem prone to it. If your hospital has a pain management clinic go to that. The oncologists don’t want to handle the pain end of it. That’s been our experience.

Tramadol helped my chronic back issues. Relief within a week. May not be strong enough for you your situation.
