That is a great read (seriously). Thanks for posting it. Much to consider since I have added estradiol patches to ADT previously. Would likely consider intermittent or periodic cycling of it in the future to interfere with genetic adaptations to just one hormonal environment ( like BAT) until more definitive evidence is in.

Did you add estrogen patches to increase the efficacy or to reduce bone loss or?

I used estrogen patches to reduce T to zero (later added zytiga) as a 6-month lead-in to SPT.

I tried PATCH protocol for ADT adjuvant to PLN RT. Didn’t quite get me castrate by one month so I took a shot of Degarelix. Found that I had none of my former adverse SEs with the E2 present, even when I lowered the dose to just one patch every two days. I like it for that as well as metabolic benefits.

I still can’t get a doc here to prescribe me even intermittent SPT so that is frustrating. Do you know a workaround to get T? You can PM me.

I find many testosterone-replacement orgs in the Chicago area are happy to prescribe the T, but their price (well over $500) is absurd. Patrick has suggested other options, but thus far I have not found a good option. Also happy to receive PMs on this.

I'm in Phoenix but will ask my NMD if he knows anyone in Chicago.

My 3-month med check is $75. Including all labs the initial one time setup is $225.

You might try telling them that you'll do your own CBC/CMP/Test/Est labs. Of course, ask them if there are any others.

I use walkinlab.com/ for my orders. There are cheaper ones but their reliability is terrible (Life Extension for example, cheaper but last time I only received 50% of my labwork and it's been almost two months of dealing with them and the lab they use).

Yes, I've had some paperwork screwups with Life Extension. I have tried a little negotiation with the T-replacement places, but have been hoping to find someone with a better deal before starting harder discussions. Basic labs no problem, my MO will order what is requested. Hoping your NMD has a suggestion. Thank you.
