My poor hubbie had a LOT of trauma during his hospital stay. Multiple catheters and stents (22 French!), irrigation every shift... His poor little Willie is struggling to recover. He said he's finally seeing no blood, 2 months after all this happened, but it's still super sensitive.
Any tricks or ideas, other than time? Also, we have a spa certificate for a place with indoor baths. He's (understandably) hesitant to take his former best friend into that water. Is it really a concern? I think the whirlpool would help his aches and pains.

I was prescribed Phenazopyridine after my TURBT, and it does help with painful urination. It basically is a strong dye that also happens to numb the urinary tract when it gets into the bladder. I use it for a day or two after every cystoscopy.
Being a strong dye, it will stain many surfaces, which is problematic when first learning to deal with a catheter and trying to empty it without dripping or making a mess. Which brings me to today's task: Replacing the stained toilet seats before we have company this evening.
I've joked about getting tattoos that read "exit only". The things we post here indeed
