Hang loose baby , maybe not like a longneck goose but we give it what we’ve got . I’m a dam nudist at heart . Freedom .

Hey , wait a minute , that wasn’t in the brochure ..

Unfortunately it’s better than not being able to pee at all . I was there for 1 1/2 years . Not great for morale . Urology drives my days and nights .For that year and half my main prayer was to just to be able to pee without brutal pain .., whoo hoo I am there .. Thank God .

My bladder has been getting weaker for the last couple of years. Stream is now so weak that I tell my urologist that I am now on gravity flow. After looking at the results of the latest uroflo test he agreed with my assessment and asked me if I wanted to start self catheterization. I told him that I would keep a close check on possibility of urine retention and get back to him if the need arises. Urologist said to be very careful so kidneys are not damaged.

Save the kidneys ! We just don’t know how crucial our plumbing is until we have a problem . Good luck finding solutions. It’s a gritty business . 😎

Everyone has peed down their legs . Depends flex fit . I can relate . I jest at our drudgery . Not making light of your citation , rather APC in general . “ welcome to the golden years is what the young tech told me as she inserted my first foley . I’d rather pee down my leg than use a foley or self cath .. Take care 👣

Do you have it?

My urologist gave me a drug called Myrbetriq that has helped me get to the bathroom. I still wear incontinent pants. I have had PCa for 11 years and my experience is that "leaking" comes and goes with time. Yes, it gets better for some unknown reason and Kegel exercises help a lot. With kidney disease I have to drink 1/2 gallon of water daily, and that makes it worse. So good luck with it.
