Ditch dairy

I am on site for issue other than acne, but I suffered from crippling acne for 32 years before I found out what was causing it through a sentence I caught in a Woman magazine; seriously, a one-liner! Mine was the result of hormones in cows MILK. It caused a bad reaction in my gut and came out in my skin. I dropped ALL dairy for 3 months, including cheese, yoghurt, ice cream, rice pud, anything with dairy and switched to soya or oat milk and yoghurts. My skin cleared - completely. I was so stunned I cried. Acne had blighted my entire teenage years and well into my thirties. If you’ve ever suffered from it, you know what I mean. I’ve been acne free for twenty years. I’ll never do dairy again. If you suffer from acne and have not given dairy-free a try, you might think about it. It isn’t an expensive option and you’ll know in 12 weeks if it’s going to work for you.

I was also able to cure my adult acne by giving up dairy. I had horrible acne all over my face, chest, upper arms and upper back. My dermatologist wanted to prescribe Accutane, but I refused. I did blue light treatments every six weeks for a couple of years. Then an acupuncturist gave me a specific diet for fertility. Part of the diet was to eliminate dairy. Within two weeks, all of my breakouts were gone. I was able to trace them to dairy, and since giving up dairy I haven’t had any breakouts. I have remained acne free for more than 10 years. Occasionally I will have a few spoonfuls of ice cream. That usually produces a pimple within a couple of hours.
