Hello, what do the pain clinic do when you get refered there? Can they take current meds off you or make you do other things?

There are two parts to the pain clinic. The pain treatment team where you get hands on treatments etc like physio and the other side where you get counselling etc. I had both and still keep in touch with my pain psychologist who has helped immensely. they are there to advice and prescribe but no they don't take meds off you etc... all in all I found the offers of anything brilliant, but the wait to see them is usually long.
