No, at this time there are not any Behcet's support groups in the area. The ABDA has a hotline that you may contact. The phone number is 1-800-BEHCETS or 1-800-723-4238.

It's difficult to estimate how long the pain of aseptic meningitis may last. It depends on the cause and on the patient.

I hope you feel better soon!!!

Thanks to both of you. I ended up having an MRI and also have 2 discs bulging in my neck.

This is Sandy McElgunn, President of the ABDA. I live in Metro Detroit, Madison Hgts. I have a group of ladies with Behcet's that live all around me, we get together now & then... but could try to form a support group. Once we tried to get together once a month, but it didn't last because so many of us are often sick! I would love to meet up with you sometime. I'm hosting two ABDA fund raiser events here this summer! A Golf Event, in Troy on June 2, & on August 25+26 The ABDA Michigan Behcet's Walk in Madison Hgts. See the ABDA web site for information. Sandy
