Is hysterectomy my only option?
I was told 12 months ago that I have abcess near ovary and uterus, possibly due to previous infected copper coil. Have had repeated episodes of pelvic pain, hospitalisation, antibiotic treatment. Doctor has now mentioned hysterectomy. I'm waiting for a recent CT scan. Doctor has not mentioned drainage

Infected lymph node
He was then given morphine and
antibiotics
to reduce the pain and inflammation. We are off to Birmingham QE tomorrow to discuss long term treatment for his CLL. We’ve had to cancel our holiday in the Lake District due on Saturday. It’s been a very distressing week!

I'm not naive enough to believe that a steroid or
antibiotics
will put the beast back in the box long-term. But I'd been told that there was basically one more can left to kick, down an increasingly shortening road.

NHS gastro says SIBO
this week a gastroenterologist confirmed I have SIBO. I have previously had biopsies and other causes of my extreme discomfort have been ruled out - I’m basically healthy. I will take the antibiotic and also the rate of my stomach emptying will be measured - she said if it’s too slow there is a med

How to confirm I have endometriosis?
After a number of tests including CA 125 and series of Ultrasound and
antibiotics
, the doctors diagnosed that I have endometriosis and straight away suggested that I should go for surgery and get my both ovaries removed for which I am not ready at all.

~Pacemaker implant+antibiotic pocket ~
Hi All I would appreciate any feedback re the above as had dual pacemaker implant + antibiotic pocket made last Friday 2 Feb, the latter due to my low immunity living with long standing autoimmune challenges. My question being: has anyone had numbness top inner/chest shoulder + nerve pain radiating

Nose sore from 02
Hi all. I have had a nose sore in my right nostril for 2 years now. Has a scab that hurts and is hard to remove. I tried an antibiotic the ENT gave me for over a year never helped. I've got a little bit of Vaseline in it right now. I have my cannula off for just a bit. Can't leave it off for long. But

Inhalers.......
He also has a mouth \tooth infection but would not take the prescribed
antibiotics
as he was not allowed to drink alcohol when on them. I am starting to wonder if maybe this has spread to his lungs as for the last 24 hours the coughing has been quite bad.

I' m doing an investigation on eyesight after surgical removal of a large AN. This in not in combination of facial palsy. I do have facial palsy but I do not think that is the on going issue. I have heard of people without facial palsy who have similar issues with their eye, My issue

Antibiotics? With or against immune system?
We've all had
antibiotics
for one reason or another but do they work alongside the immune system to give it a little helping hand or are they completely independent? So, given to someone with a weakened immune system should that patient be given a slightly higher dose, or longer course?

Naughty tooth delays ASD procedure
Thanks to a post on
antibiotics
for dental procedures I got off my a** and booked a dentist appointment to replace one cancelled in order to see a cardiologist. It turns out that my “gum boil” is likely to be a chronic infection due to a dead tooth.

React/allergy certain
antibiotics
. I do have ulcerative colitis of many years standing but well controlled. Would appreciate others experiences .. how they have felt on taking Hydrea.. I know it’s an individual body response too. I know it’s vanity too… but hair loss? Skin and nail?

Living with a Suprapubic Catheter
In my case it is likely that the sediment is caused by the bacterium [i]
Staphylococcus saprophyticus

antibiotics
which kill this bacterium can be expected to stop my blockages.

PMR resurgence
I’ve just finished a course of
antibiotics
for a bladder infection so am going for a fresh set of bloods, urine and poo today to try to establish if PMR has returned. It certainly feels like it! Since completing a 950km bike ride in France over 11 days I have been absolutely floored.

Pneumonia
It turns out that I thought my extreme fatigue was due to having tapered to 4 mg, that I have pneumonia. So I have been on an antibiotic for two days and am much better. I had a cough but no fever but it was not improving so finally my dr did a chest xray. He told me to stay at 4 mg for the rest of
