Stomach cancer
She took 2 types of
antibiotics
and some acid related tablets (esomeprazole) for a week. She felt fine while taking the tablets but symptoms returned as soon as she stopped tablets. Blood tests revealed very low in haemoglobin and iron. She was given 2 infusion for blood and one for iron.

I've been trying to get hold of my rheumatologist because for some reason they are not seeing me until April now and I'm already on
antibiotics
for an unknown reason/flare but no luck in getting them on the phone.

succumbed with guilt and what if….
I took him A&E 4 days before and they completed tests and discharged him saying he just had a cough infection and provided him with
antibiotics
. My heart told me that there was more but I feel I didn’t do enough and I am swollen with guilt and what I could have done more.

Thank you.
Thank you to everyone who answered my question about taking
Antibiotics
with Tocilizumab. I should have looked at my leaflet but I had so much going on I didn’t think about that. I was trying to sort out my prescription and had 2 men digging up my front path to lay cables for fibre broadband.

Although I have had exacerbations since starting to take it, I have not needed additional
antibiotics
! Wowser! Still taking prophylactic Azithromycin on alternate days but even so, not to need additional
antibiotics
is remarkable.

. 2days in hospital followed , with them restarting apixaban and heart medication in preparation for a cardio version.

Gallstones
I've been given strong painkillers and
antibiotics
. I'm a bit miffed, as I've been following a Low Fodmap, anti- inflammatory, pescatarian diet for as long as I can remember. Is there a thyroid link? I'm still on just 50mcg Levo.

sorry me again! Should I be worried about chest infection….now viral infection and generally feeling terrible?!
Apologies for posting again……so, home a month tomorrow after 9 days on ventilator in icu……I got pneumonia whilst on the ventilator, then I got a chest infection and crackles on my lung, finished the
antibiotics
yesterday and still felt awful so the dr gave me a blood test and today they said it’s now

No running for me atm ☹️☹️☹️
I visited a dr who said he thought I had a chest infection but he didn’t think I need
antibiotics
. So off I went on holiday thinking I’ll be better when I can relax. I even took my running stuff just in case🤞🤣.

Pneumonia/cancer
Had
antibiotics
and fingers crossed, not feeling too poorly. Doctor said it was a small showing on the x-ray and that no cancer concerns at all. He said I will have a follow up x-ray in a few weeks to see if it has cleared and if not then further tests will be done to see about further treatment.

During the chemo with cabazitaxel last summer and autumn, I had some bleeding from the bladder and difficulty in urinating as well as urinary tract infection, treated with
antibiotics
. I still need to urinate quite often.

Sepsis - a timely reminder
"Come down right now" they said, and I was admitted on arrival (once at 2 am) and on IV
antibiotics
within an hour. I didn't get sepsis, and I doubt I even had a bacterial infection that might have led to it.

Enter a week long battle with doctors to get
antibiotics
and 6 days later I couldn't walk fast enough to get my heartrate to the top of zone 1, I ran at a gentle pace and watched hr steadily climb, everything feels great and I'm going faster than lately but not pushing it.

Itching Ears post Microsuction
The GP won't offer
antibiotics
if they can't diagnose an ear infection. I have very small ear canals which doesn't help them see what is actually going on inside. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as it's starting to impact my mood negatively. Thanks in advance, Lesley
