Iron Bisglycinate versus Liquid Ferrous Sulfate
Hello oh wise ones. I’m constantly here lurking in the back and rereading posts to take info back to my doc. My doc has very little knowledge of RLS but she is very open to all your information so I’m eternally grateful. Been trying to up my ferritin for the last year. Started at 8 and now a year later

Low white blood count
Hi I just had a blood test and it shows that my white blood count is low first time that I can remember this happening. I feel fine in myself, I was a bit exhausted for a bit that is one of the things I do suffer with. It was slightly worse than normal but I do push myself to hard sometimes. What are

Long Covid- are they still missing a link with B12 deficiency ?
("Be Well: A Potential Role for Vitamin B in Covid-19") Martyn Hooper (Pernicious
Anaemia
Society founder) has made the comparison between symptoms of long covid and PA - and alerted medical experts to this similarity. It does look strikingly familiar, doesn't it ?

RLS and Iron
After reading posts here, I wonder if a different iron supplement would help my RLS, and if so what type and what dosage? I’ve been taking 50 mg daily for a couple of months (the bottle is just labeled as iron) but it’s not helping alleviate RLS. Recent blood test results were Iron, 83 ug/dL; total iron

Hi all! I had my baby back in 2021 September. From about November I started feeling really 'not myself' I went to the doctors and was told I had iron deficiency. I was told to buy some ferrous sulfate, which i did. But they caused me to bleed from my bottom when going to the toilet. Now I am taking

Her thyroid labs are a little on the low side this time because she reduced her dose significantly having felt over-medicated previously but has since increased it slightly and hopes her next labs are better. What's the relevance of low mean cell haemoglobin, but normal haemoglobin concentrate levels?
I'm confused about these results! Please can anyone help? What does mean cell haemoglobin mean? I I thought it meant I was anaemic, but my haemoglobin concentrate is normal. My ferritin is too low again I know. I understand my thyroid levels. I'd reduced T3 from 30 to 25mcg for 6 weeks hoping my TSH

Help interpreting medichecks results please?
(My grandmother had pernicious
anaemia
, ...for additional info.) I want to give her the best advice as to the next steps to take with her doctor in order to push for adequate treatment of deficiencies/low levels seen here or failing that what supplements can be sourced independently.

Tips for Americans with PA
I was diagnosed this month with pernicious anemia, with major neurological symptoms. Like many folks, I had difficulty finding someone to provide daily or every other day injections. In addition, I discovered that Medicare does NOT cover B12 injections, and the cost at my local pharmacy for each cyanocobalamin

Could it be pmr?
I’m on the pernicious
anaemia
and thyroid sections too and have had lots of great advice but I still have all the same symptoms albeit less dramatic than the initial collapse. I’m so confused about where to go for help.
