I'm new here - Utrogestan/Mirena query
I have been using the Mirena coil for PMS and for the progesterone part of HRT since June last year, and want to have it removed due to hair loss, but am worried about taking Utrogestan as taking it two weeks a month could re-start the cycle of depression/mood swings that I was trying to resolve by having

Enough already. I can't take this anymore.
For those who don't know my story, I was recently hospitalized, ive done it all. ECT, TMS, DBT, CBT. I see my therapist twice a week my psychiatrist once/week. I've had suicidal ideation for a long time. I'm on trintellix and have been trying to find the right dose to no avail. My marriage is breaking

Extending zodalex treatment and symptoms?
Hi all, I wondered if anyone could help or advice. I have been on zodalex and hrt for 5 months and will be my six month injection next month. Zodalex has helped with my pain a lot and have been able to do things again, however I’ve started to notice that my old symptoms have been creeping in again

Induced chemical menopause
Hi ladies, my consultant is offering me to be put into a chemical induced menopause, via injections to shut down my ovaries for 6 months to see how I feel, then perhaps the possibility of a total hysterectomy including removal of the ovaries. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm very anxious to have

Misinformed about use oestrogel
Hi I’m 56 and been peri menopausal for at least 10 years and although I’ve had numerous visits to the GP, I still have no idea whether I’m post or peri menopausal as apparently there is no way of knowing?!? But then I seen a trainee dr who told me that she could do a blood test to find out? So confusing

I'm on 8mg steroids, 15mg methotrexate (to get me off the steroids) and Alendronic Acid for OP. My neck and wrists have been in getting worse as I reduce. I wake up with wrists throbbing and am finding it hard to dress myself again. I thought by reducing to 8mg the specialist would be happy but also

New to HRT-which treatment ???
Hi - I have an under active thyroid and taking medication . There are so many different types of HRT how does a GP decide on treatment ? Could two different GPs suggest different treatments or is there a straight forward way of deciding on HRT ? Thanks all 😀

Slow rising HCG positive stories/outcomes?
Hi again, Sorry for stalking this forum this week, as you can tell I’m an anxious wreck! Had my betas back this morning and although they’re positive, the nurse has worried me as they’ve only risen by 60%. She told me it’s nothing to worry about but at 5 weeks I know it’s so early. Did anyone else

Financial Assessment
Hi I am new to this forum and after some advice as cannot find the answer. I have a son who is 26 and lives at home with myself and my husband. He has special needs and attends a day service which the council pay for. He has just been sent a financial assessment form to fill in and it asks for contributions
