Medicate? Still unsure...
Decided to take iodine with tyrosine, selenium and
zinc
. Just retested and all the same but tsh lower. Reverse t3 is 11.5 and range is 9-27ng/dl. I didn't have antibodies tested again since both were in range around 30 and I've been gf diet for 3 years.

Normal TSH and T4 but low T3 - still have hypo symptoms
I'm currently supplementing with Magnesium, Selenium,
Zinc
, Probiotic, L-Glutamine (all at least 4 hours after taking Levo) and taking Levo (currently on 100mcg) first thing in the morning with a full glass of water an hour before breakfast.

Adrenal support for high cortisol?
Unfortunately adaptogens don’t seem to agree with me, so I’ve been using
zinc
with some success, but I feel that my adrenals have had a battering for several years and would need extra support.

Erfa or Euthyral? Euthyrox was not a success
He also supplemented me heavily on
zinc
, selenium, Vit D, the whole works. Somehow however my ferritin and Vit D never seem to go up. As long as I can remember I have had them very low.

SAD Again
Start taking vitamin D3, omega 3, magnesium and
zinc
supplements. Buy a 10,000 lux SAD lamp. Maybe I should come off the meds as I've been on them for over 10 years but reading the horror stories of venlafaxine withdrawal this alone makes me anxious.

The importance of zinc
Thinning hair A common complaint of people battling adrenal fatigue,
zinc
deficiency is associated with hypothyroidism, an overlooked cause of thinning hair and alopecia. (11) According to Indian researchers, thyroid hormones are essential for
zinc
absorption.

Thyroid?
I did make a mistake, I think, in starting a new supplement for my knees (consisting of calcium, magnesium and
zinc
). Since I was found to be vitamin D deficient even before subacute thyroiditis, I was prescribed vitamin D but never been given magnesium or k2.

Help with blood test results, please.
I requested to have my FT3, vitamin D3,
zinc
, B12, folate, and TGAb levels checked, yet they did not do this. Not enough blood was taken to have my cortisol levels checked.

Vitamin B12 symptoms
My consultant also tested my vitamin d
zinc
and magnesium though haven’t results as yet. I am fighting my work to get moved closer to home as I believe I should have a disability rating though they keep passing me from pillar to post.

Undiagnosed UAT, still struggling but feeling more positive after starting Zinc, B12 and Vit D3.
I know B12 spray has had mixed reviews but it is working for me,
zinc
is fab for dry skin and mood.

re iodine controversy
My child had be advised to take iodine and
zinc
rethyroid issues for a while and some homeopathic stuff. I think due to health blood results he cannot be treated as yet with hormones but the doctor he saw agreed that he had thyroid issues and pointed out the loss of eyebrows.

Below normal T3 - minerals
I read that T3 is dependent on
ZINC
for conversion. Minerals aren't normally tested but so important e.g. selenium,
zinc
,calcium, phosphorous, magnesium and vit D which if off there's a chance of parathyroid not functioning.

19 with tinnitus
I have started taking
zinc
tablets because I have read that it can help. Here are my questions: Is it possible for tinnitus to clear up ever? In my case, would you think that stress caused the onset? Are there any treatments that you would suggest? Thank you so much
