We are all on our own journey
I feel that Fibro is a term used by Dr’s and Consultants when they can’t pin down an exact cause for the pain that we all experience. They don’t fully understand it yet, although there are many research programmes that are ongoing all the time. Central nerve problems, virus, emotional, are all reasons

Supplements
Hello, Does anyone know of any good supplements I could take alongside the usual medication please ? I’m currently on Benepali which was working really well for me but for the last 8 months I’m struggling with swollen painful feet , I’ve read that turmeric is really good but due to long term anti inflammatory

Headaches every day for 6 months but unsure if Migraine or not....
I’m hoping someone can relate or recognize! Everyday for the past 6 months I either wake up with a headache behind my right eye/right temple or it comes on during the day. It’s like a pulsating pain where I can still go on with my day most of the time but it’s really hampering my quality of life. I don

Lower left pelvic pain comes every 5 seconds, anyone help?
This started today and is a stabbing like pain every 5 seconds, making me feel a bit nauseous. Pain radiates up into my left chest sometimes. I’ve had abdominal surgery 4 years ago, but have never experienced this stabbing pain. It came on after I did exercise at 2 pm today. Anyone experienced this

Managing endo pain
Hi ☺️ Just wondering if anyone has found a miracle cure for managing endometriosis pain whilst on period 🙏 I get weekly acupuncture, use castor oil packs, take my pain killers days before period is due but nothing seems to be helping manage the pain 😥. Contraception isn't an option at the moment,

W1 completed.....but I nearly didn’t!
Can’t tell you how happy I am to share the fact I have actually completed W1 despite the fact I doubted my ability to take on the challenge of running several times. The weather hasn’t helped either. On my second run, it was -2c and the heavens opened as I was just about to do my first one minute run

First run of 2021 no plan at all
My second 10k Willow has a sore back, it’s my day off and the paths are slippery, I’m sat in bed reading a funny book, Willow runs a bath and after a soak and pain pills sets about enjoying his day By this point I’ve got as far as dressing and trying to be determined to go whatever I’ve just worked

Help for my pain please
Hi guys and gals I hope you are a safe and well (as you can be) I am looking for some advise on pain medication at present I take co-codamol 30/500 and Amitriptyline at night. For the most part this is not helping much. I’ve tried Tramadol before but I thought I’d been given a placebo as it didn’t

Common sense and instinct wins every time
For a few days I've been doing long walks instead of runs as the ground is so icy. My common sense says dont run. Then I read some posts, and I hear you all talk about overcoming gremlins - which has never been an issue with me luckily. Well today obviously those vicious gremlins got the better of

New symptom, is my bladder endo coming back?
Hey so I have noticed with my current period and last one that when the cramps come on especially evenings and night I have this urgency to wee feeling, you know like the little pains of my bladder trickle filling up? Well I don't need a wee but it comes on strong and doesn't really subside. It's worse

Help
Hey, I have been told I have endometriosis but I've never been given the actual diagnosis!! (Annoying!) I've had 2 failed rounds of IVF both resulting in miscarriages and since the age of 18 have been suffering horrendously with my periods, ovulation, and just day to day life. I keep getting fobbed off

Should I condition my glans before circumcision?
I am in my mid-twenties and will be having a circumcision probably in about a month or so to remedy my phimosis (I have a tight non-retracting foreskin), although the consultant I spoke to could not give me an exact date. He also suggested that conditioning my glans beforehand may help me recover better

Hospital Trip
So 4 wks after transplant, 2nd trip to clinic. Bit disappointing. I am in pain, constipated on and off & am pretty sure I’ve got a UTI as I’m going to toilet every 20/30 mins and passing little. Nurses were fantastic. Doctor looked at wound, happy with it. Asked me how I was told him codeine was making

Now in Week 4 of Circumcision Recovery!
WEEK 1: I woke up in pain after the anesthesia wore off. Nurses didn't want to give any painkillers. My GF ended up buying Tylenol for me and I took a couple pills. Had to walk very slowly. Had a gauze wrapped around my penis, but that thing kept falling off. Had to replace it when I got home. Ended
