Reducing Pramipexole
I’m hoping this will be of interest to some of you. Any comments really welcome. I am reducing my pramipexole, by half a tablet every 2 to 3 weeks. Currently I’ve cut out 2 x half tablets and about to cut out the third half. I’ve also had a full iron panel blood test. I discussed with the Doctor

Can anyone help me with hair loss?
I've been given
ferrous
sulphate
200mg and take this every day as my doctor told me I'm low in iron, and iron will help but I've now taken this since summer with no improvement. What else can I do!? I work within the hair and beauty industry and it makes me so conscious.

Update
Hi Had a phone call on Friday asking me to contract the surgery, following my over range ferritin results. I've now got to have a TIBC, iron and TSAT blood test. I think I need to be honest with the surgery and say I've was supplementing with iron tablets until recently and this is likely to have caused

Reducing levothyroxine and taking HRT
I would appreciate some thoughts on whether I should reduce my Levothyroxine from 125 daily to 125 x Mon-Fri and 100 x Sat/Sun to bring TSH up a little bit. GP has agreed to this and started me on HRT patch (Evorel Conti 50) to see if that helps with the aches and pains as she thinks thyroid is treated

Low Ferritin and hair loss, would appreciate advice please
I did see a trichologist (in desperation despite struggling to pay the fee) and he believes my low ferritin to be a main cause of the hair loss and suggested supplementing with
ferrous
sulphate
or
ferrous
fumerate.

New bloods - confused about iron study outcomes
Good afternoon Fabulous people – hoping for your wisdom again. I had new bloods on 10th June (8 week check on levo dosage). I knew that the NHS bloods wouldn’t test FT3 and FT4 (even though they were specifically requested on the form by the GP). I ordered a medichecks test to test these privately.

I used to take Floradix and my iron was over midrange on it, then took 60 mg Actiferol (ferric pyrophosphate) in powder from the pharmacy for couple of months and a month ago I started
ferrous
sulphate
105 mg called Ferrograd. I can't believe how much it has dropped.

Iron Bisglycinate versus Liquid Ferrous Sulfate
Hello oh wise ones. I’m constantly here lurking in the back and rereading posts to take info back to my doc. My doc has very little knowledge of RLS but she is very open to all your information so I’m eternally grateful. Been trying to up my ferritin for the last year. Started at 8 and now a year later

Takes time but getting better
It is a long and often painful journey but my experience is that I/we am/are getting quite a lot back brainwise but very slowly. At the moment I'm on immune suppressants to stop my brain inflaming itself and any infection is potentially fatal. I'm also on anti-biotics to treat a water infection or UTI

Hello everyone, I am 35 years old, female with Hashimoto's. I take 150mcg levothyroxine and 25mcg liothyronine. I follow a strictly gluten, dairy and egg free diet and mostly avoid soy except for lecithins and tamari sauce if I have sushi. I take my levo before bed, 2 hours after food. I take my first

5 months after aortic dissection repair
Hi I had an emergency repair of a type A aortic dissection in November '21 after being blue lighted up to Kings. I am a 66 year old female and had no inkling that there was anything wrong with my heart before this, and had put any symptoms like palpitations and dizzy spells down to extreme stress after
