Which RLS medication also works with dialysis?
I am 84 years old, have had RLS for a long time and have recently been on
dialysis
. Especially when
dialysis
is ongoing, my RLS symptoms become extremely severe after about two hours. Each
dialysis
lasts four hours. The remaining two hours are almost unbearable.

Interest in home dialysis
Hi there, I'm looking to better understand the
dialysis
experience in hopes of improving it, especially better understanding home
dialysis
pain points. Would anyone be open to connecting to discuss their experience, or taking < 3 minutes to complete this survey?

Fiancé is in desperate need of a kidney
He’s been on
dialysis
for 3 years and is in dire need of a kidney. He’s been so positive and happy during this time , he even started a business this year all while being on
dialysis
. It’s been very inspiring to watch! I want to spread the word!

dialysis
through choice? I am currently in talks with my team re stopping. Just wondered what any of you think.

Paying for Dialysis
When you start
dialysis
immediately start looking for monetary assistance. I’m retired so the ~$450/month quickly adds up if you don’t have a lot of money. I waited until I had about $6,000 on my credit card to look for assistance.

Question about dialysis
I was hoping someone could tell me how do they do
dialysis
if you don’t have good veins. Mine are so tiny even blood draws are difficult let alone a iv started. I’ve had major abdominal surgery three times so a lot of scar tissue and mesh .

C.K.D stage 4/5
I have at present an EGFR of 10 at my hospital we don't start
dialysis
until its consecutively below ten. I have tried to discuss transplantation and have been told I'm not there yet. Apparently I need yo be having
dialysis
before it's even discussed. Can I ask is there a.reason for that.

nausea and vomiting
my husband has been on
dialysis
for just over 12 months now but suffers with severe nausea and vomiting. He is unable to keep food down or even attempt to eat some days . Is this a normal side effect of
dialysis
please and if so is there any treatment.

Anyone on peritoneal dialysis?
The doctors want to start the process for home peritoneal
dialysis
overnight. We are feeling quite anxious as a family and I would appreciate your support. Can anyone offer their experiences on starting PD, physically and mentally how they feel on
dialysis
?
