Is anyone taking Mirtazapine for anxiety? My daughter started on 15mg but was too much so she’s been on 7.5 for a week then started Monday nite on 15 mg. Today she was so messed up......extreme tremors , neck rigid to the point of pain, could hardly move, confused, hard time breathing........I was scared

Hello
I was on
antidepressants
from 2000-2013 and have been going it without since. My life is pretty stable and I keep the anxiety and depression when it creeps in pretty quiet. Life is hard when you go it alone this way.

Skipping a dose makes me feel better. Why?!
I know when taking
antidepressants
they say you should not skip a dose but I don’t know why but I feel like about once a week my antidepressant causes more depression so I skip a dose and I feel better. Does anyone know an explanation for this ? It doesn’t make logical sense to me! Thanks Jaco

New here
Anyone with ADHD get really nervous & really unsure about applying for a new job? I currently take care of people's pets but I need more work and I need a new challenge. I'm debating whether or not to apply to be a swimming instructor at a gym for kids. I like swimming, kids and the location is not far

Antidepressants - getting the balance right
My son (aged 23) has been on
antidepressants
for about a year (his tbi happened 18 months ago). His GP is wonderful but has struggled to find
antidepressants
that do their job without huge side effects.

I’m a Newbie
Hello, I’ll try to make a long story short... After my husband left me in December 2017, the following spring my doctor diagnosed me with extreme situational depression. I was put on Lexapro ,and it helped immensely. In October 2018, after months of rejection, I landed a great job. The beginning of

Mid 20's drop in libido
I'm currently working really hard at coming off the
antidepressants
and introducing positive, healthy habits to help me cope with low days, and that is the forefront of my focus currently.

Wellness?
After some full on operations I was put on
antidepressants
. Which made me extremely suicidal and have since been hospitalised again. I asked my onc if I could choose to stop treatment as doing this with young children breaks my heart every second of the day.

Tips for exhaustion /anahedonia?
Just needing a way to get myself out of bed and started on the day, and restarting if I end up laying down again. Trying to stay away from drugs atm since I'm almost 8 mo pregnant (I'm okay making myself eat and not suicidal at all - - figure I'll get on a BF friendly antidepressant postpartum). I do

Blood test readings
I am still unclear about my blood results. Not sure if I need to be supplementing B12 or iron both of these were not highlighted by the lab but someone here suggested they were on the low side. My thyroxine is now down to 75mg since coming off lithium. It may still be too high but I won’t know until

Healing depression through diet and also I need a hug.
I'm going without taking
antidepressants
for the first time in years, and after about 10 months, I'm back in a depressive episode. I'm just so sad. And so anxious. And so irritable. It's awful. I was so proud of myself for doing well without meds for about 7 months.

TMS Therapy?
It is suppose to be another alternative to
antidepressants
or combined with them. I have been on countless medications over the years. The problem is the gruesome side effects. Plus When my mania is severe, I forgot to take them.

Natural anti anxiety remedies
I really dont want to go down the route of
antidepressants
especially as I know it could take 3 -4 weeks before they kick in and I could feel a whole lot worse which I cant afford to feel as the course is only on for another month.
