W5R2 Best run yet!
I woke this morning with that nervous feeling in my tummy which must have got my
adrenaline
pumping which in turn made my run a great one. I was worried last night as the back of my thighs felt tight and painful so I got Hubby to massage them, which really hurt!

We have become doctor's by circumstance.
Doctors need to understand more about anxiety and the causes it has on the human body the hormones that are released during a panic attack once the body becomes adjusted to large amounts of
adrenaline
it get used to it!!! It has to have more of it??

Adrenaline Rush?
My mood has been really low for the past few weeks and the other night I had a sudden rush of
adrenaline
. I have never felt anything like it before. But since that night my mood has been very low and anxiety symptoms have been really bad. What could this be?

I've signed up to a 10k in May!
Hello everyone, Thanks to all who commented on my previous post my 'bad run', your comments really helped. It's a lovely day here today so I thought I would get out again and put those gremlins well and truly to bed! I did 8k in 55.13 which I'm pleased with. (My 'long' run pace- ie the pace I can keep

I did it! I actually did it!?!
My final run was today and I don't know if it was the
adrenaline
I got from knowing I was running the final run of the program, but in terms of what I had ran before, I smashed it! I ran a 32:35 5k and felt so good at the end. Looking back across the whole 9 (10) weeks I have come so far.

Emotions!!
Goodness I am finding out how much emotional turmoil can effect PMR! Have just gone through 9 weeks of worry as my son, aged 30, had to have chemo following diagnosis of testicular cancer (sadly the removal of the tumour in November didn't stop the growths appearing in the lymph nodes in February).

Looking for a good sympathetic endocrinologist in Liverpool or Merseyside can anybody recommend any? Just found out there's a 10 week waiting list on NHS and I'm so ill that I'm going to have to pay private as can't carry on feeling like this. Now feel like somethings pressing on my throat area. Does

A Great Diet Guide To Combat Anxiety Naturally
Just the thought of what the morning will bring in terms of the increase in physical sensations, and restlessness that in the past might have turned into full blown panic attacks, will be enough to start the cycle of fear

Wanting a diagnosis
I have finally just got my Dr to refer me to an endrocologist after trying for 5 years. I have had weight gain, brittle nails, cold sweats, nausea, adrenalin surges, enlarged tongue, extreme fatigue, and waves of depression on and off lasting from weeks to months at a time. The symptoms are always worse

Tremor & Hyperactivity - anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
Hi, I will be completely upfront here before I start and say I'm not sure why I am posting this question in the thyroid forum, but instinctively it feels like the right place to ask, so I'm going with it! I'll make the history bit as short as possible. I have Trigeminal neuralgia, which has to be treated

This Could Be The Cause Of Your Anxiety...
These toxins can in fact mirror and interfere with many of the body's hormones such as
adrenaline
for example, and when this occurs such feelings of intense anxiety can be induced.

Nutri Adrenals Extra
However, many claim you should avoid
adrenaline
when you suffer from adrenal fatigue, and therefore only take adrenal cortex, not whole adrenal which also contains
adrenaline
. Those of you on NAX, have you ever felt
adrenaline
was a problem?

Head rush
I get this head rush /
adrenaline
rush. And I'll jolt up. I feel like I can't breathe and and my like whole body starts to feel like it's moving. It used to keep me up a lot but now I kind of just except it and let it happen and then I fall asleep. Is this okay? Does it sound like anxiety?

High anxiety last night
I hate the shaking the trembling inside. I was told once it was to much adrenalin pumping around my body and the Doc gave me Beta blockers and they worked for a while. Like most drugs they never work for long.
