feeling let down
Since my husbands heart attack in May last year I have been doing everything I can to help him recover and stay well. He had a very serious heart attack (widow maker), occlusion of his LAD with no viable tissue left to stent or bypass. He has been told by every health professional he’s ever met that

THC and augmentation
In researching THC use and RLS, it is described as a dopamine agonist. Is there evidence it can also produce augmentation? . It works very well for me and does not produce the side effect that makes Gabapentin, Lyrica or opioids unacceptable options. However I can’t use it much because of my line of

morning all, in April last year I had a hospital admission for suspected heart issues, in September I was told I have a significant narrowing in an artery, not a main one, they tried to start me in a whole heap of meds and suggested a stent, I wanted a chance to avoid all this so for 6 months I have

Arteries or electrics of my heart? Which one is causing me problems or are they both? Or is it gastric?
My heart history is quite extensive . Had ablation 2019, stent 2019, coronary spasm 2020, pacemaker for complete heart block 2022. Plus prostate cancer 2021 and bleed on brain as the result of collapsing due to blood thinners. Before Christmas was doing hour and half in gym, felt fine. Since January have

Which scan or test?
I'm writing on behalf of a friend. They had a stent nearly 10 years ago. Very overweight, on blood pressure medication, statins, aspirin and spray under the tongue. Just lately they've been getting a lot of chest pain, using spray more and unable to walk far without getting breathless. Blood pressure

Twitching running eye...
I have Hashimotos and wondered if any of you lovely people with this also have this happen to you.My left eyelid is kind of flickering and has been on and off for the last 4 weeks, it's not noticable if I look at it in the mirror but when I try sleep I can definitely feel it. Yesterday it was watering

Are My Arteries Getting Worse?
Anyone diagnosed with atherosclerosis/heart disease, who has had a heart attack, stroke, a bypass or a stent, or indeed anyone who has had any kind of heart problem due to plaque in their arteries, will surely have asked themselves this question. We're told by the NHS and the BHF that we can't remove

Omeprazole and Clopidogrel
Had a stent a month ago today and cardiologist wanted me to go back on omeprazole but I insisted on Pantoprazole. I need the omeprazole long term due to severe GERD. He told me that the interaction advice was an old Canadian study and that there have been ample studies to confirm that Ompeprazole did

One for the ladies!
Hi all, You may recall 12 weeks I posted how terrified I was about my forthcoming CABG operation. I can't thank those of you that responded to my post enough for the support I have had. I am now 11 weeks post, and need help from the ladies.....my ' girls' are mostly still numb... Little sensation on

Methadone + Pregabalin + Trazodone - So far so good
Hi everyone, just wanted to share a good story. Sorry for the telegraphic style, I'm just saving everyone's time. I'm 33, living in Canada. I guess I've had RLS my whole life, but it started affecting my sleep about 10 years ago. I'm very active (cycling everyday, rock climbing & calisthenics). No other

Moving on from a Tracheostomy
Sorry - another question from me. As it was a slightly different topic, I thought I'd start a new thread. My dad has had a trachy now for just over two weeks, following two weeks fully sedated on a ventilator due to pneumonia. He is much improved and breathing unaided for 36 hours so far. He is also

Anxious
Hi I’m Nicky, I’m 49 and had a heart attack on 23.03.23. I had a stent fitted. I’m feeling anxious and frightened. My lifestyle wasn’t great and I had huge amount of stress at work. I’m so grateful to still be here.

Running can literally save your life !
A rather dramatic title, but In my case it was probably true ! Ok, so I now feel it is time to bring this out into the open. The Admin team know about this . Thank you to Oldfloss and MissUnderstanding for picking up the slack ! Only a handful of others have known about this And to the ones who knew

RLS - Suboxone - PLMD
I have had RLS for years. Last year I weaned off ropinirole. In doing so, the doctor prescribed opioids. When I started Suboxone, I developed PLMD. Has anyone had this happen with Suboxone? Did nothave PLM before.

Stopping Clopidogrel
I've been told to stop Clopidogrel after 12 months since getting a stent.Just 2 days after stopping, I'm getting severe pain like heart attack. I have unstable angina and glyceryl nitrate spray didn't help .took aspirin too as usual. I'm not sure if withdrawing Clopidogrel has caused this. Anyone experienced
