Ok I have only gone and done it in 9 weeks I have gone from running 0 minutes to 30 minutes and it feels good. I feel lucky that I haven't had any injuries and I know not having kids at home means I can pretty much please myself when I run, (early morning is working good for me), so doing it in the 9 weeks was more achievable for me than some people, and I did resist the gremlins who wanted me to repeat runs I just ran the program as it was set out and didn't repeat any.
C25K really does work an I am a real life example of that.
I have lost a bit of weight but that is secondary to how I feel; I feel better I eat better, I sleep better and overall I'm pretty pleased with myself and life at the moment.
I'm really looking forward to what comes next, partly because I love planning, so I can now plan my consolidation runs and aim for that 10% improvement. I would like to reach 5K but you know if I cant so what I can now run for 30 minutes three times a week and intend to continue to do so.
I have even bought myself a little graduation gift of a light weight waterproof running jacket so I can keep going during the wet winter months. The only thing that will stop me is Ice and snow,
I would never in a million years thought it was possible, thank you C25K and the forum for giving me the support and the advice.
I am now a C25K graduate. Boy does that feel amazing.
