Have someone of you have seen something that gave you that feeling of joy. ? Let me talk a bit about me. Every single day is a huge battle for me. I wake up very tired because I can't rest when I sleep. My anxiety is getting high because I have go go work and my job is a place that causes me a lot of

Paroxysmal and permanent Afib
Does anybody know when paroxysmal Afib becomes permanent? I was diagnosed with paroxysmal Afib towards the end of 2022, after I had been fitted with a Linq loop recorder. I was only ever having short episodes lasting up to 8 hours, then on 13th October just gone I started with an episode which is still

Annovis Bio Announces Approval for EU Clinical Trial Sites for the Phase 3 Study of Buntanetap for the Treatment of Parkinson's Disease
This trial is already open in the United States, and I believe some on this forum are participating. This announcemment indicates that the company is also opening clinical trial sites across the EU. I checked clnicaltrials.gov but they have not listed the EU sites yet. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases

Covid vax and AFIB
just as an FYI, I had a Covid vaccination (Pfizer) a couple of days ago and I developed AFIB within a few hours. It did resolve itself overnight after I took extra metoprolol.

New to this Group
I probably always had Depression and Anxiety, but lost my coping mechanism due to Covid taking away my routine. The result has been severe anxiety and depression. I am on Zyprexa, setraline and Trazadone and go for CBT. My life has been destroyed by the depression and anxiety with no end in sight.

I am sorry
I'm tired of saying I'm sorry for everything, many times I don't know if I made a mistake or not but I apologize anyway Because I don't like anyone to be angry. And currently I am in chaos💔. I am very upset and depressed and no one understands this and there are those who blame me because I want to

Stopping Sotolol after ablation - fast HR and breathless
Hello, I am an ablation for Paroxysmal AFib and Flutter on 11th July. All went well. As well as AFib I used to get long periods ( a week or more) of other arrhythmia -PACs, SVTs, PVCs. They told me the ablation might not help stop these. During the 3 month blanking period, had some days of chest

New Job
Long story short, I started a new job today! I had been struggling to find work and this is in my field. I like it, the people are kind, and I am good at working in this field, but I have this awful feeling that I am not going to last at the job. The problem is my PTSD. I KNOW I will do ok (in the job

Interesting to know...
If you had the idea that AF is reserved for us, humans, you were wrong. It is kinda catching, lol, so our pets can also have AF problems. Here a passage from an article, talking about AF in cats and dogs and the interdependence of heart size and the probability to have AF (allegedly, larger hearts (sportsmen

Treatment for diurnal mood variation/morning anxiety and depression
Has anyone been successfully treated for diurnal mood variation (morning anxiety/depression)? If so, what medicine worked for you? I have MDD, PD, and GAD and my anxiety is the worst upon awakening and during the first half of the day. I have tried several SSRIs as well as SNRIS. Now, I am on Mirtazapine

Hi you lovely people. long story so I’ll keep it short. Iv had 3 ablations and have a history of palpitations. went to GP asked for a monitor because I’m getting ectopics frequently. He said NO need but come for ECG in 2days and bloods.!! I wasn’t happy so asked to be referred to a cardiologist

What’s an acceptable rate?
so I’m back in afib, doctor sent me home with 2.5mg of bisoprolol and also blood thinners. At moment my heart rate when not doing a lot (sitting down watching tv) is around 90-100bpm. Sometimes In the 70s and 80s and even lower 60s and possible 50s when asleep! So basically I’d say my base rate is

Cardioversion/Ep study
I recently had an Ep study to determine whether I had SVT or Afib., even though I had been diagnosed in 2021 with Paroxysmal Afib. The cardiologist said it was a long shot but if it was SVT he would ablate it. Unfortunately throughout the procedure my heart went into Afib and they had to cardiovert
