Slowly going crazy today - I had some cramping for the first 4-5 days post transfer but it died down and I haven't felt much apart from an occasional twinge. Yesterday and today the cramps are back and feel like a dull ache. They're strong enough I'd take a pain killer if I could. My husband and I have

Off Daily Pred , So is it Flareups or arthritis?
When I was diagnosed with PMR January of 2021, my rheumatologist put me on 15 mg of pred and tapering by 1 or 2 mg monthly. I have been off pred since the middle of January and feel basically ok. I do get occasional flareups (I think) which I control with a 5,4,3,2,1 mg dosage over 5 days and that takes

Muscle Spasms
I had what I thought was a pulled muscle and they xrayed at Christie's, this lasted couple of days it's turned into agony. It starts like a wave that builds up around my shoulders, my neck and tingling, numbness and pain down my left arm. The pain is practically to half of my body back and front, but

Advice welcome PMR
I thought the
pain
in my thighs is due to having severe
arthritis
in my hip and waiting a hip replacement. I then wondered if the pain in my thighs could be down to PMR? Yesterday I went for 1mg to starting to take 7mg? Should this be ok or should I start back in the 15mg?

Two and a half weeks post upper right lobectomy.
Hello all, I’m finding lack of pain control in the middle of the night is preventing me from getting a full night’s sleep. I’m fine during the day although the stiffness in my back and side is always present. I’m gradually increasing the amount of walking and activity at home. I take rests when I need

What happens when you end tocilizumab
I have GCA and PMR , plus a few other conditions.. I am on Prednisolone, Azothioprine and tocilizumab . I am getting towards the end of the tocilizumab injections as the aim is to get to 7 mg Pred and I am about to reduce to 9 mgs. The tocilizumab has done wonders with unreadably low CRP and ESR of 3

GCA at young age?
Hello, I have been suffering from symptoms over the last few weeks and I am struggling to get any progress with hospitals. I am 26 years old and I have never had any issues with headaches in my life. As a bit of background I have probably just had the most stressful year of my life and one of my aunties
