Hello Has anyone else with ET experienced problems with insufficient blood circulation causing osteonecrosis? If surgery is inevitable, what extra cautionary measures should ET patients take? With ET JAK2 diagnosed 11 years ago, I've been on Litalir, changed to Anagrelide 2 years ago and for the last

Does this look like lupus rash?
Hi everyone. I started with a flat purple rash last Tuesday. It’s spread across my stomach and down the front of my thighs. Then a more sporadic raised rash started on shoulders, back, and then my hands and arms on Friday evening. The first marks on upper body looked like I’d scratched the skin. Yesterday

l have paroxysmal AF and recently been getting more episodes. I recently had a blood test, via my GP, to determine the function of my heart. I had my results come through, to my NHS app., late on 24th May, the start of the bank holiday weekend, so have been unable to speak to anyone at my surgery.

High TSH AND high T4 after thyroid removal
Hello, I'm a 38-year-old male with Thyroid cancer (papillary carcinoma). I'm 174cm tall and weigh 152 lbs. I had surgery to remove the tumor and my thyroid about 3 months ago (end of February). On January 22 (before the surgery), my TSH was 3.59 mlU/L (range of 0.40 and 4.50), and my endocrinologist

Suffering post surgery
I just recently had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction surgery, as chronic colds and poor sleep, had led to or been comorbid with brain fog and depression. I was cautiously hopeful that the surgery would be a game changer, and I am still hopeful, but I am so incredibly miserable. I ended up back in

The role of PSMA PET/CT in predicting downgrading in patients with Gleason score 4+4 prostate cancer in prostate biopsy - W Jour Uro 5/21/24
[i]An interesting investigation aimed at validating the use of PSMA PET/CT in patients to adjust the Gleason score (downward) of their cancer based on conventional pre-surgery biopsy, scans (ultrasound & MRI). In this instance the focus was on downgrading from a high-risk of 8 to an intermediate-risk

My diagnosis after 6 years, Lymphoma EMZL, AL Amyloidosis and Myeloma
Hi everyone, It's been some time since I updated my situation after having been told my Lung nodules had grown. I had a lung wedge resection last year July after a biopsy which was terrible. I had infections a couple of times after the surgery. That is when I received the devastating news about my diagnosis

Changing bandages
Hey everyone, my boyfriend just tried to change the bandages at each side of my stomach following the surgery, but the bandages seem to be actually stuck to my skin like felt as though my skin was being ripped off🤢 we had to leave it as it was far too painful. I had a look online and it says if it is

Is the end in sight???
Hi everyone, this is my first post and reading others seems I am in the right place to discuss these issues with others who know exactly what I am going through. Others, even close friends, I think at times just dont get it... From what I read others too have had a long long road to diagnosis and treatment

10+ High fertility days
Hi guys, Anyone had over 10 days of high fertility flashing smilies on a CB digital advance before? I'm on day 10 now which is unusual for me, the line is getting darker (both on CB and on the cheapy sticks) but no peak yet.... The CB website says I probs won't ovulate this month, which would suck.

Is my Endo back?
Hi Everyone, Looking for some advice or anyone who's been through a similar experience. I had Endo 3 years ago some of my main symptoms where bowel issues bloating, gassy, stomach cramps and diarrhea whenever I ate to much. Initially the doctor put it down to IBS. Obviously that wasn't the case and it
