A Warning For Other Thyroid Disease Sufferers
The paramedics have assessed me and said I have congested lungs and I need to sit upright and take
paracetamol
to lower my very high temperature. They have advised me to see a Doctor today if I feel worse because of my breathing difficulties.

SOS - accident - not thyroid related
Yesterday my husband fell (there was a pothole) crossing the road and pulled me down with him. He is perfectly ok apart from a grazed finger, but I fell on my right side and the side of both knees. We were very near our medical centre, so went in and were seen by a nurse. She bathed and dressed my knees

Cautious return after back problems
Two weeks gap and I managed the 10k (74:35) and took
Paracetamol
before it. But two days later a hellish 5k followed where my back hurt and forced me to go slow. So this is the first run since about December 13th.

Help, need advice
I've been started on 75mg pregabalin,
paracetamol
, naproxen and codeine, as yet, I don't feel any benefit. I've been told they can help treat some symptoms, but not all. They suggested exercise, but just too tired and too painful at the mo.

Coping strategies for endometriosis
At the moment I take ibuprofen lysine and
paracetamol
and I use a bulky TENs machine on my lower abdomen, it’s not ideal as I’m an NHS midwife and at work I get questions from patients asking about the wires - as you can imagine a woman in labour doesn’t particularly sympathise with period pain/endometriosis

Extreme pain at bottom of my back.
I take tramadol and
paracetamol
at the same time and even have oramorph at times but all they do is to make me very tired but they don't take away the pain. I wonder if anyone else on here has the same and has found anything that helps.

Leading pain doctor says no significant pain relievers for at least ten years.
A post I read in the newsletter Pain News Network, a leading doctor/scientist in the field of pain management stated that in her professional opinion there will not be a significant replacement pain reliever for at least ten years, or more. Seems Big Pharma is running out of options for pain relievers

Awfully worried about pain in right side 3 years after Ivor Lewis op
The pain is bad enough to merit
paracetamol
or codeine 3 times a day. The consultant told him that he looks well and that the pain is probably musculoskeletal. He said that he was fairly sure that it was ‘nothing sinister’. 2 weeks ago Alan had a CT scan to have a look at the area concerned.
