It is so hard for lungs to heal. I had two lots of Pulmonary Embolism and still get a lot if pain. You probably have inflamation and bruising from your op Hope you recover soon maybe your GP can reassure you on whether the amount of pain you are experiencing is normal or needs investigation. x

Hi Moses, l hurt for about a year after the tubes in my side. I had it done twice. That was the worst thing. Every time I sneezed or coughed, I had to hold my arm up.

I don’t remember about the pins and needles but I remember the pain.

I will get better but it took me a long time.

After a week I started taking Tylenol because the medicine wasn’t working anyway.

I hope you feel Better. Please talk to your Dr. I didn’t but I wish I had.

You've been doing so well up to now. I note you say " paracetamol when required" well surely you need them now! My advice would be take the max dose now for a while and if that doesn't make it bearable get back to the medics. 😘
