Levothyroxine and HRT
Magnesium
Citrate
, Selenium and Vit D3K2 at bedtime. Guessing the gel doesn't affect absorption of Levo as its transdermal, but wondered about the Progesterone tablet. Would be grateful for advice as none from GP and leaflets for medication don't identify Levo as a non compatible medication.

I love how knowledgeable and helpful people have been on here so I’m back! Nov 22 - TSH was 0.13. Doc was concerned I was over-medicated but I felt great, so she left me on my dose which was alternating 75mg one day and 100 the next. Jan 23 - TSH was 0.37. Not sure if it means anything that it’

Magnesium biglycinate and levothyroxine - spacing of meds
Hi All I want to start taking magnesium biglycinate at night to help me sleep. I take my levothyroxine at night too. I usually take supplements in the day and the reason I wanted to take the thyroxine at night was because I wanted to avoid any contraindication issues that might occur. I know I will

Struggling with CoFactors
Hi everyone, I have a dilemma. I’ve had 2 B12 jabs in the last 6 months. I tried them because I have been feeling awful and suspected that it may be a deficiency. I suffered from folate deficiency a while back which was treated with folic acid by GP but I felt terrible on it and had to stop. Luckily

Magnesium in Parkinson’s disease: an update in clinical and basic aspects
Parkinson's has a long presymptomatic period, it's caused for the newborn, from magnesium deficiency during pregnancy & nursing which makes it so fewer dopamine nerves are created. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK507269/#_NBK507269_pubdet_

Am I talking out the back of my head?
A little background. I have had Lone Parox Afib for circa 17 years and symptomatic. Drugs are: Flecainide 50mg twice daily since diagnosis. No known side effects except tinnitus. (24x7) Apixaban 5mg twice daily. Anastrazole : which kills estrogen for estrogen + breast cancer. Prescribed for 5 years

HELP, I don't know what to do
Hello all, I'm looking for a bit of collective advice. I have had serious side effects from the BISOPROLOL I was taking, song burning cold aches in my hands and feet as if they are about to go into pins and needles mode and so I was advised by my NHS cardio at Barts Hospital to change to VERAPAMIL

Raising t3 without raising t4
Hi, just after some advice re increasing my t3. On paper my results look good, but I am still so fatigued! (Vitamins, ferretin levels all good as private bloods checked regularly) I'm also taking HRT, recent test revealed oestrogen raised, (twice highest recommended level) so reducing my intake in

Genetic osteoarthritis especially in my knees, was using magnesium spray, but since on Radiotherapy PC sessions, wet weather, suggestions?
Have had genetic osteoarthritis in my knees for decades, my Uncle and Brother have both had knee replacements, but have been advised by friends [and brother] find alternative relief solutions! Maybe it is because of PC radiotherapy treatment or wet weather ALWAYS worst time of the year, but particularly

magnesium
hello everyone, happy new year to you all. I started taking spray magnesium and I experienced belly aches, not sure if it’s just me but even when I took tablet form a while ago it affected me in a bad way. Just wondering if that’s my body saying I don’t need it or it just doesn’t like it. Any thoughts

Magnesium and the bladder
I know this is a thyroid board and we do need to keep on topic - but if it encourages any hypo doubters for magnesium supplements to give it a go then for blokes here magnesium can have remarkable benefits in helping the bladder muscles and enabling uninterrupted night time sleep. There is genuine research

Paroxymal Atrial Fibrillation
I was diagnosed with paroxymal AF in 2017 I was given 1.25mg Bisoprolol to start with and then in time, I gravitated to 5mg. Since last month the af went out of sync, I am now on 7.5mg Bisoprolol and the increased dose has not been helping greatly. On the 14/11 I had to go to A&E as I had chest pain.

Is it worth taking magnesium supplements?
On Christmas Day our family gathered at our place and after dinner, as usual, the conversation turned to medical topics. My aunt told us that her neighbor told her that Magnesium may prime the immune system to fight cancer and infections. Dr. Hess and scientists in Switzerland have now discovered that
