Can a copper coil that has not been past expiry be dangerous?
Due to covid and an unsuccessful attempt at removal I still have my expired coil Just concerned that it may not be safe to have it inside me for too long

Copper coil issue
With the copper coil does anyone experience severe bloating. I had mine fitted on the 27th may and ever since I’ve had on and off spotting/bleeding/brown discharge. Also pain on and off and bloating. Can anyone relate?

Cardiomyopathy and ICD and Pacemaker
ICD
and a pacemaker are also widely used nowadays and they have a specific function which is different from the above medications. Your cardiologist is the best person to advice on your specific requirements. Thank you. Regards.

Mirena coil pain
I had the Mirena coil fitted just two days ago and I am still in absolute agony. I’ve had to phone in sick at work today. Has anyone else had this and if so when did the pain ease off? I have read that you shouldn’t have any pain effecting your daily activities. I really can’t cope with it anymore and

New to group
So I was given an
ICD
in August. Life is much better now, I have enough energy to run after my 2 year old son.

How long?
I need some help please, I had my coil removed in February to try for a baby, how long do they advice to try before the endo gets to much again? Also I haven't had the covid injection because I don't want to add any more problems to falling,/carrying. Is there anyone else that feels like there isn't

Fibroids and hrt
I found a lump in my abdomen early April, which my gp also felt, in the next couple of weeks I could feel further lumps and was referred for a gynaecology scan which revealed a 6.5 cm ovarian cyst and a small fibroid. The mirema coil was removed at the same time. 5 weeks later I had an abdominal scan

Thriving with Congestive Heart Failure and a Left Ventricular Assist Device as I await a Heart Transplant.
I have had 2 aortic valve replacement surgeries, a mitral valve repair, an
ICD
and 2 aborted heart transplants in addition to the LVAD surgery. I am very well informed about Congestive Heart Failure and donor/recipient issues as well as having recovered stunningly from my past surgeries.

Coil fitting experiences
I have just had a coil fitted this morning and the pain is horrendous, it was much worse then I thought it would be. Does anyone have any tips on what to do to ease the pain and how long it takes for the pain to ease off?

I had my laparoscopy done on the 25th of April this year. I had all the symptoms of endometriosis (extreme pain, heavy periods, irregular periods, cramping, bloating, pain during and after sex etc), and had to basically force the gynaecologist on the phone to get me an appt for a laparoscopy. Alternatives to ICD + pacemaker
My cardiologist is suggesting I have a combined pacemaker and
ICD
implanted. He is concerned about risk of sudden arrest which apparently is higher in patients like me with epicardial fibrosis. So probably I will go ahead.

No endo found
Girls I feel so lost. On Thursday I had my laparoscopy, they didn't find anything. They tried to send me home without telling me anything other than they didn't find anything and I could be discharged so I said I needed to know more as they did a hysteroscopy and fitted a coil but last I knew was they

After 13yrs finally have an answer!
Warning, could be a tad too much information for people below! After 13yrs of symptoms and issues I finally have a diagnosis!! Symptoms started just after my second son was born although thinking back now I think I had symptoms in my teens. Fobbed off by many GP’s and then finally found one who listened

Hi there all! I hope you're well. I'm hoping to get some advise from you lovely lot.
