Colon problems or what??
Hi all- I am just curious to know if anyone out there has/had had the same symptoms as me: At Christmas (2015) I had all symptoms of a bad sinus infection/flu. It put me under the bed. I was never officially diagnosed with anything but the doctor gave me amoxicillin and sterroid. I recovered beautifully

Intrinsic Factor
Since my first test results were lost I had another sample taken seven weeks after my loading doses doses.Would this have affected the results?

High dose sublingual B12 supplementation and the Intrinsic Factor Antibodies test.
Diagnosed with a b12 defiency just over a month ago. Went vegan end of January and I think doc just assumes thats the reason as he doesn't really seem interested in any follow ups or reasons. I've been reading like crazy and actually think I've been deficient for most of my life and have also just found

So I was diagnosed with Lupus about 2 yrs ago. No symptoms, was feeling fine up until i got a weird rash on my left quad when I was out hiking one afternoon. I was told I had high inflammation. So instead of researching what was wrong with me, I subjected to trying this medication called Hydroxychlorine

Will B12 skew PC and IF results
Hi, I have been having injections of hydroxocobalamin from my doctor every 3 months since I was diagnosed in 2011 with PA, level was 140. At my injection 3 months ago, the nurse told me that the doctors want all their B12 injection patients to have a parietal cell antibody test. This came back negative

CHEST CRAMPS ???
I am getting chest cramps that last for a minute or so. Still no intrinsic factor results as they have been lost so had to take another b12 & intrinsic factor test. My b12 is 550 now (previously 176). but still waiting for the elusive IF results. I have resorted to buying sublinguals which have helped

Has my daughter inherited my thyroid problems?
Thanks to all those who kindly responded to my low TSH concerns. I have a further concern. My daughter's grandmothers both suffered from thyroid problems as do I. She is now 42 and is showing symptoms of hypothyroidism in that she is exhausted most evenings and goes to bed as early as possible and has

breathless increasing in AF what to do? I am Calli111
I was diagnosed with AF last August and although they started me on Amiodarone with a view to cardioversion I could not tolerate it. Nor could I tolerate beta blockers, ACE inhibitors or any of the other drugs they tried me on. These drugs make me feel even more breathless and to add to that feeling

Confused
My consultant phoned yesterday and said she didn't have all the results from my blood test on the 13th but my anti ana was fairly strongly positive. My inflammation levels were normal and I've previously had a positive rheumatoid factor. She mentioned a connective tissue disease.. What could I have?

I have been feeling unwell for more than a year now but my symptoms have been worsening more quickly in the last few months. I have the usual fatigue, pains in hands, feet etc. I also struggle

New diagnosis B12 deficiency
I am new to this group despite following Thyroid UK comunity for a year or two now. I have been concerned over the last few years about the potential of thyroid issues due to nodules growing in both sides of my thyroid. Investigations last year found nodules were benign with normal TSH 0.9 (range 0.2
