Hopefully the next week will tell..!
Hi all, appointment went well, ECG proved what I already knew. Two things, still in Sinus Rhythm & low pulse, but Blood pressure good at 134/62. So dropping my Bisoprolol down to 2.5mg for the coming week with another appointment due for next Wednesday. Can't argue with that.

I think I had a visit from my butterflies
Hi guys and gals, Well, don't often write updates 'cos there has been nothing to update. Until now or rather late yesterday afternoon when I had a heart 'n head issue. Felt odd stuff in my chest like my butterflies were back locked in dog fights all over the place. Hard work breathing normally.

Bisoprolol tablets
Good Morning All, my heart decided to have a flip yesterday after 12 months free. It is more ectopic beats now than AF. Pulse seems to be faint ever other one. Instead of a strong pulse that you can feel. I was cut down from 10mg to now on 5 mg in January. Does anyone just take extra bisoprolol without

Echocardiogram and AF
Just over a week ago I had an echocardiogram. At the commencement of the test the sonographer commented that the heart was in sinus rhythm. On ringing the surgery this morning for the result, however, I was told that “Possible atrial fibrillation “ had been written at the top of the report. The doctors

Wondering ...
My last afib attack was approximately seven months ago. I feel exceedingly fit and strong. I had a cardio version and was put on a blood thinner. Eliquis. I feel as though my afib has gone bye bye. Query. Is it possible that blood thinners somewhat PREVENT afib? Or is it possible that a cardio

Is this Afib?
I was diagnosed with Afib 4 years ago and needed cardioversion. I have had a few weird symptoms since then but nothing that needed intervention. Now, almost everyday i feel my heart miss a beat and it takes my breath for that moment. Then I feel tired but my heart rate is 65 and rhythm is normal...

Permanent Afib. and anxiety
I have not been particularly prone to anxiety with Afib. but recently am being affected......usually spouse related!Typically, a small job in the house that i requested him NOT to do turned into something long winded and difficult and to which i was eventually drawn into to. This left me

Feeling fatigue and lightheaded after ablation
I had a pulmonary vein catheter ablation 6 weeks ago and all was relatively well till about week 4. For the last 2 weeks I feel fatigue and lightheaded is this expected during healing? I do not feel any afib (my watch ecg also indicate i am in NSR), my pulse is elevated and spikes if I move/walk around

Alcohol after Cardioversion
Some of you asked me to update you after my cardioversion. I stayed in NSR for five days until I drank half a bottle of wine at a belated birthday celebration. Before some of you with sharp pens tell me I was stupid I can since being diagnosed with AFib I have cut my drinking to moderate, averaging

Hi everyone, I am new here, leaky valves , palpitations too. Is Magnesium effective?
I am originally from India, live in Maryland, age 81 years. Had a great life in this U.S.A. Was research chemist for Big Chemical Company, with 35+ years of industrial experience. Have palpitations at least 2 times a day. Echo cardiogram has been stable. Feel anxiety often. Is there a low cost pill

Migraine after catheter ablation
I had my ablation two weeks ago. I was ill the next morning, didn't feel like eating normally for four days and had an attack of migraine every single day for eleven days, some were worse than others. I thought it was just me and I ended up in A&E on the fifth day. I was given Sumatriptan tablets.

hi. I have permanent afib and enlarged heart. I have just had my best fortnight since being diagnosed and put on meds. It would seem they have my meds right at last. I have been trying to keep my heart rate at under 120bpm and my resting rate is around 80-90bpm. However at times it shoots up to 140+

No medication
So I finished my meeting with the endo, she said my symptoms were mainly due to anxiety and depression and so she prescribed me Cipralex (Lexapro). She said as I was subclinical, if she were to prescribe me with thyroid medication, it will make my anxiety worse. I have another meeting with her in 2

Wondering what to expect
To the amazing and wise members of this group, I inform you that I have been diagnosed with level IV PCa with Gleason score of 9 and bone metastisis throughout my body. I have been on ADT for 18 months doing intense exercise (running and weights, the latter against doctor's orders) and have received

Amiodarone & Bisoprolol
I am currently on 100mg Amiodarone at night and 2.5mg Bisoprolol twice per day. I am having sleep and daily tiredness problems which is side effect of above medications. My Doctor has given me Zoicone 5mg which I take when I wake in the night as it then gives me a good nights sleep. My heart nurse
