Too young for arthritis?
Hi, I’m a 21 year old who is suffering from knee pain and cracking/grinding joints. I am overweight and have always put the knee grinding down to my weight but recently in the past 6 months my knee has started to hurt and I can no longer squat and it hurts to climb stairs. The Dr told me I was too young

2ww insane tooth ache and headaches
Hello everyone, I am a little desperate I have done my 5day embryo transfer on monday and since I have had increasing tooth ache and headache. I saw the dentist during stimulation but it wasn't that bad and i wanted to wait it out before intervening as I knew I couldn't take any painkillers. I know I

My experience of laparoscopic surgery for removal of endometrioma for anyone who's suffering the same.
I'm 1 day post op for the removal of 3 x endometriomas. 2 on my right ovary measuring 6x5cm & 13x8cm and 1 on my left ovary measuring 7x6cms. So pretty big and unbelievably painful!! I had a great surgeon who managed to still get all of the cysts out via laparoscopic surgery however he did have to make

Liver function tests with Tocilizumab.
My Liver function tests are slightly out of range (0-35) mine were 42 last time and 46 recently. My Rheumatologist proposes that I come off Tocilizumab and start Methotrexate . It was my understanding that Metotrexate also caused raised liver enzymes. I don’t want to alienate my lovely Rheumatologist

4th vaccination?
I have had an appointment sent to me for a 4th vaccination. I have already had the booster in October. I am taking Tacrolimus and steroids for seronegative inflammatory arthritis. Just wondered if anyone else has heard about their 4th injection? I live in North Wales.

Open Heart Surgery, (OHS) General Comments 2
4 weeks post redo AVR. I thought this information might be helpful to others in a similar place. I was noticing and getting a bit concerned about some increase in pain in and around the wound site and in the intercostal muscles. My cardiac event follow up nurse pointed out that this is a common experience

No confidence in healthcare.
I have become a pessimist. I have lost all confidence in our healthcare system. Doctors who you schedule an appointment with, you're really sick, and they spend maybe 4 minutes talking with you and say come back in 4 months. You call again and say somethings really wrong with me. Then I go to the ER

Severe constant pelvic pain
I’m in so much pain and the doctors can’t seem to diagnose it. 5 weeks ago I had painful urination and I was given antibiotics. But a couple of weeks later it progressed to severe pelvic pain, I have lower abdominal aches, dark cloudy urine that smells strong. For the past 2 days I’ve been getting chills

I’m in so much pain and feeling desperate
No one seems very interested in finding out if ‘chronic pain’ is actually the case, I can’t get near the rheumatologist to see if
arthritis
could be involved, all the GP offers is more
pain
relief and a physio seemed unable to offer much advice or help.

Is it arthritis? What to do....
I am in my 5th year of PMR and am down to 1.5 mg prednisone. My last bloodwork looked good, so I felt confident in going from 2.5 to the current 1.5, over 2 months. I don't feel as if my PMR is returning but I do have lots of joint pain in the morning -- in my knees, hands and wrists. I suspect it

Still standing! us and the trees
We’ve had a bit of a break from running. I had a health scare and between appointments, storms and worry we’ve done nothing much but next week a barrage of tests start and if they aren’t in a hurry I’m not too scared any more, so today being a day off we discussed going out, took some pain pills, then

Aspirin as a painkiller??
This is probably a very very dim question, but can you still use aspirin as a medicine if you're also taking it for ET?? I take 50mg daily and normally just take paracetamol as a painkiller but I have a hideous cold and trying to look after two sick kids too. Can I take aspirin complex??? I used to

Bad flare up, stressing myself out
I think I’m entering into a flare up and am getting myself stressed out which I’m sure isn’t helping. Any tips for managing the stress and anxiety that come from this condition appreciated. For about a week I’ve had really low grade pain in my abdomen which I’ve been able to manage but I knew I was approaching
