Are shivers the symptom of asthma
I think I have non
allergic
asthma
. Does this cause shivers, and feeling I’m on the edge of a chill about to hit me. Sleeping is a nightmare. I also throat clear all the time and talking sets it off too. I’m seeing a specialist in two weeks.

Anyone had their Clenil dose increased?
Hi! I currently take Clenil 100mcg 2 puffs twice a day, after being diagnosed with asthma. I came off it after hay fever season ended, and all was perfect until I came down with a cold 6/7 weeks later so was back on it and needed steroids... I now have another cold for the last week (perks of working

New asthma nurse
Yesterday I had my asthma review at my doctors surgery. I was really happy to find out that it was a trained asthma nurse. I have had practice nurses before this in the last couple of years. I had a really good one two years ago but she left. So she asked how I have been, did my height and weight, checked

I had asthma as a child which I was told I had outgrown and, in hindsight, I have had symptoms of asthma over the past couple of years but I

I have cutaneous lupus and sjogrens. Had to go to ENT doctor because of have sinus issues for 6 weeks. The ENT feels that it could be allergy related. I was asked if the allergy testing would cause my skin to have a reaction because of cutaneous lupus. I told them I had no clue because I have never

Asthma likely to progress to COPD?
Got asthma with partial reversibility on spirometry. Well-controlled on Fostair. Had it since I was a child (with a break in my late 20s to early 40s, now 50). Asked the consultant today if it is likely to keep progressing and become COPD and he pursed and wriggled his lips and then said "well it MAY

Running with Asthma tips?
Hi does anyone have any tips for running with asthma? Starting back into it but my chest is on fire after less than 5 mins. Does a face scarf help at all or just restrict breathing? Thanks

Histology Report
Well my histology report has come back indicating that the prime site for my mucinous cancer is the small intestine. It then spread to my left ovary which appeared to be the primary site on the CT scans? Obviously it wasn't. I am now being transferred from my breast/gyni oncologist to a bowel cancer

Help for peak flow
Following a bout of pneumonia and asthma I find my peak flow is under 200. It has been like this for years but now I am struggling. What can I do to boost this after the infections have gone? I am a young 73 year old lady who has brittle asthma that I thought had been under control. Also how soon should

Asthma Wk8 R2
I really want to go out and run - next due is Wk8 R2. My chest doesn't feel that great and I'm coughing more. Wondering whether to just go or rest up. So frustrating as my asthma is not normally a problem. :-(

Asthma cough!
I find it really concerning the lack of knowledge the GPs have on asthma and that in this day in age are still focused on peak flow testing which is not a good gage for the asthma cough!!! My peak flow has always been good, peak flow tests upper chest airways and not lower! I have had flare up for weeks

What would you do?
Okay. So last Wednesday I went to the out of hours GP for what I thought was a chest infection however I was rushed round to A&E and kept in over night on a nebuliser and put on steroids. The one doctor stated i could possibly have had a virus. When the consultant came to see me, she asked me to see

Endocrinologist Assessment. Trying To Take Me Off T3. Help please.
Hi all, I would very much appreciate any advice regarding the Specialist Endocrinologist trying to take me off T3. I have been well on T3 for twelve years with the exception of when T4 is introduced, which has now been sixteen times. I get extreme unwell and just don't have any quality of life at all
