Flu vaccination availability for us
We all know that our endo has an effect on our immune system, that annoyingly this isn't recognised and classed the same as say Diabetes / Heart Problems / Asthma in regards to Flu vaccinations. I always have colds around this time of the year and have always know it's due to my endo - I know some may

Week 1 run 1
Back to the beginning again. I finished C25K a while ago then stopped. First part of lockdown I walked and walked. Then I started jeffing doing 30:30. I had a cold and cough; I realised how much it had affected my fitness so back to the start. 60 seconds seems a long time and 90 seconds so short.

Hashimotos- question
Hi everyone! As I was only 25 when I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism I was just wondering if there is anyone on here of similar age when they were diagnosed? I’ve noticed it seems quite uncommon... I am wondering whether my sickness as a child has contributed to this. Had tonsillitis for many years

Lymph nodes under ear
Today I woke up with the lymph nodes under my ear enlarged. They have been enlarged for a while but today they are a bit bigger and very tender. I got my flu shot and pneumonia shot on Monday, do you think that has anything to do with it? I am not on any treatments. Still w&w. Thank you! Mary

Fibromyalgia pip review
Have you had your review yet. I've just sent mine off. Sorry my name Rich I'm just so worried about everything and I just really don't want a face to face. I was in hospital for pneumonia and they never give me a cov19 test. Do you know how long it takes as with all this going on I'm sorry for asking

I have had Cyclophosphamide and currently on Azathioprine and for the first time in 11 months caught a cold. What happens? is it different? More severe? Just interested.

Stopping lethal lung damage from the flu with a natural human protein.
The raging lung inflammation that can contribute to death from the flu can be stopped in its tracks by a drug derived from a naturally occurring human protein, a new animal study suggests. In mouse studies, all untreated animals given a lethal dose of influenza died within days. All but one of the infected

COVID cough vs normal Mucus type cough
With all this COVID stuff going on it’s pretty scary. But I have what I’d call a chesty cough on and of for almost a year now and I’d say 80% of the time I cough up thick lumps of mucus. From what I’ve read and been told this is nothing like a COVID cough but obviously it’s scary. Don’t have a fever

Reaction to the flu jab.
I wondered if anyone has had a reaction to the flu jab. I must have had about 16/17 in the past of which at least three or four must have been when I was on steroids with my first bout of PMR. Before that I have had them at work when I was nursing. Never a reaction and hardly a sore arm. This time

Flu jab if you are in remission?
I have looked over the various flu jab posts and see that the advice is to definitely get it! Is your advice any different for someone who is in remission? I have been off prednisone (for PMR) about 18 months. I have never had a flu jab because I luckily do not get the flu. I am very concerned that
