Probably I’ll have a tofu wiener with mashed potatoes and garlic with gravy, and Brussels sprouts and broccoli. 😋
Homemade oatmeal stuffing, potatoes, sprouts with chestnuts, parsnips, homemade bread sauce and cranberry sauce & vegetable gravy. 😍❤️😘xx
Chestnuts 🌰 I'd forgotten about them. I'll have some too. Thanks for the reminder 😊
Great poll ideas Debs as these are all great options for Christmas Dinner. 😁👍Ofc home cook meals are the best when we have time off. Hmmm i really don’t know what to cook for Christmas Dinner as this is my first Vegan Christmas. 😊 I think a hearty stew is what I am drawn to as everyone can share and enjoy it whether they are vegans or not. 😋
I will have to give this plenty of thoughts. 🙃
Of course, it will be your first Vegan Christmas - how sweet. I will post mine up, what ever I decide to cook
😀
I love it Debs can’t wait to see your Christmas Dinner Post. 👩🍳💫😇👍
I think I’ll make the Moroccan stew with potatoes to contribute to the family Christmas party as everyone does potluck style. 😁
That sounds lovely Koko - a very nice addition to the Christmas Party
🥳
Awe Debs I do hope they will like my vegan stew this year. 🌱😇💚It’s so cold and foggy today here, I’m sure this kind of hearty stew will hit the spot for everyone. 😁
Most Definately! I am sure your stew will taste divine - and people will be wanting seconds 😁
Awe thank you Debs, maybe next year I can host my own Vegan Christmas dinner and everyone just need to have vegan potlucks if they want to attend. 😁👍
Thats a really great Idea Koko 😊 it would be a roaring success
Awe thank you Debs, I will announce my Christmas dinner plan to everyone for next year when I see them. 😁👍
Shop bought nut roast, then all the normal roast trimmings - roast potatoes and parsnips, carrots, broccoli, red cabbage with apple, vegan stuffing, cranberry sauce and if remember vegan bread sauce. (Then several hours later vegan Christmas pudding.)
Forgot the Brussel sprouts - not a Christmas dinner without Brussel sprouts!
Im going to try School Night Vegans seitan roast chicken, which is mainly for benefit of my son, but sounds delicious. I only bother making roast potatoes and parsnips at xmas, so im quite happy with loads of that, some vegan gravy and bread sauce. I dont skimp on desserts tho!
Nice quiet Christmas this year as we feel it's not worth upsetting ourselves by booking Christmas dinner out only for it to be cancelled at the last minute.
Yes, we are not going for a meal either. I don't mind a quiet christmas, time to unwind from the very stressful year
Perhaps for us we might bring that back for Christmas 2022!
