Hi Debs, this is an interesting poll. I don’t generally go to the doctor or take meds. I stick my head in the sand lol and hope it goes away!

If I was seriously ill I would have to reconsider my strategy 😃 I think I would check there was a vegan version as like vitamins they often have gelatine in and I’d want to avoid that.

Thank you Ali. Normally I don't get virus/flu but this years its been awfull, still recovering now - eight days later, and it got me thinking, if I go to the chemist, is there anything I can take? Normally I have Vegan/GF Supplements, but what do I take to help with flu type symptoms, I couldn't eat anything so that ruled out food. So I am letting nature take its course.

What a fantastic poll Debs. My answers are shop for a herbal alternative and use healthy foods to get better.

😀

Thank you, I went back to work to day and feel much worse for doing it, the work load is so high that having anytime off is almost impossible xx

Oh no that's not good, easy to say I know but yiur health is very important, what's your job? I also have a very big workload but am sticking to my guns and doing 3 days a week, although full time for 3 weeks soon just to cover. Think my age has helped i.e. I've previously worked like crazy now to step back a bit. Take care and me hooe you are better soon xx

Good for you, stand your ground. I am a book keeper, so I do the accounts but its amazing how many more duties i have had to take on over the years. I am never normally off sick at all, but this time I had no choice and I do wonder if working flat out all the time is part of the reason it has been so bad xx

I am 3 days a week but the workload equates to full-time but apart from covering in a couple weeks time where I'll work full-time for 3 weeks, I'm not changing my hours.

Please think of your health Debs as that's very important. Pardon me please for being so honest, we are a long-time dead. Please treat yourself with care and respect, I'm sure they don't think any more of you for working like that. I'm a Project Co-ordinator and am workkng on 3 big projects i.e.arranging meetings/dealing with invoices/raising orders/attending meetings etc.

Take care and don't overdo it xx

Your quite right, I really should not have gone back so soon, I was worrying about the amount of work that was stacking up. I am so glad your sticking to your guns. I am taking heed I promise xx

You are worth more than work and your health is very important. I agree with what my husband has said and that's he's convinced more and more people are scared to go sick.

Be kind to yourself, you are worth it xx
