I’ve made a couple of cheeses. One was solid and I think I set it with agar and another was more of a herby, garlicky soft cheese they were very nice. So good luck if you make your cheese it would be interesting to see how it goes.
The hard cheese you made sounds similar to the one I'm going to make as I'm sure that's got Agar in it. 😀
I had no idea there were so many plant based cheeses. I think I’ve only tried violife. I thought I’d struggle to give up cheese but I don’t miss it at all.
I don't think I'll have a problem either with cheese, there us so much Vegan alternatives. 😀
The only vegan cheese I like is Tesco’s Jalapeño Chilli Cheese. I’ve tried several others and they range from tasting of nothing to tasting of sick in my opinion. But the Tesco’s Jalapeño one is delicious!!
