Hi Jerry

I've tried Almond, Coconut and Soya milk and out of the 3 I would say that Soya is probably my favourite; I have Coconut milk in the cupboard and will use it in things like one pot meals but I did buy it to use in coffee as well but I find it quite watery.

I am planning though to make my own nut milk when I turn Vegan in a few weeks and have been looking at replies I've had to my post and see that it's easy to make (thank you to you for your help on this as well, it is much appreciated).

Alicia :)

Hi Alicia, I made cream with cashew nuts and that was really easy and tasted good so you'll find its cheaper to make your own and be additive free, And thanks for your kind comments.

Jerry 😊

I remember you making the cream, so much better for you. I absolutely love cashew nuts and cashew nut butter is the best one for the raw fruit bars I make.

You are welcome 're the comments, you are so helpful.

Hello Jerry,

Koko coconut milk is my favourite, its flavoured with grape juice so the sugar content is less, its great on cereal, in cooking and in my GF chicory/Barlycup . I use unsweetened shop brand soya milk in my my tea πŸ˜€

Hello Debs, I've seen Koko milk so will have to try it as I really coconut milk, I buy cartons from the supermarket and tins which tend to be thicker and I like those in coffee. 😊

My favourite is my homemade cashew milk. I use it for everything where I need milk.

You inspired me into making some and it tastes really good. 😊

I avoid soya as I have a thyroid problem and its not good for that but also because the majority of soya is genetically modified as well as environmentally bad -vast swathes of rainforests are destroyed in order to grow soya
