The hardest thing to find is a conditioner that works for my coarse, dry, color-treated hair.
Any recommendations?

Hi LeLanna - If you search on Google or Amazon for "Organic Fragrance Free Hair Conditioner" you will find a bunch of choice - shampoo and hair conditioner too. You can also make your own. If you check out myfrugalhome.com/homemade-h... and just leave out the essential oils to keep out the fragrance, you will find one of many recipes you can make yourself. Additionally, you can put a thick layer of mayonnaise on your hair dry, cover it with a bonnet and let it set for 3 0 - 60 minutes. It sounds gross, but it works really well. Then you shower and wash it out with a gentle cleaner. I make my own shampoo out of Dr. Bronner's baby shampoo and herbs for dryness, shine, itch, etc.
Good luck with your search!
Thank you for your reply. I will look into the homemade conditioners (although I'm lazy and want to buy something already bottled).
I've tried the mayo - doesn't work for me. Also have done many searches for organic fragrance-free conditioners. Either they do have some kind of fragrance (usually an essential oil, which is "natural" but still causes reactions) or they just don't work.
Again, thank you!
Good luck with your search!
Have you tired Argan oil? It does have it's own fragrance so that may put it out of the running, but my hair tends to be dry too, so I use that and it works really well. Just out of the shower, towel dry, and put about a dime portion in your and, rub it on and rub it in
That sounds like it's worth a try. Thank you!
Hi lasagna do you have asthma too? I have the same problem . I have had to use dove soap to wash my hair with no conditioner . Can you imagine ? Doing this for 3 days . Everything sets of my asthma. Let me know if you find something please.
OK. Please note, my name is no Lasagna.
