I was part of the “4th arm” or final part of a clinical trial for the use of a drug called Ibandronate. It was given to me post breast cancer treatment to strengthen my bones and essentially prevent cancer from spreading to my bones.
My wife (aggressive follicular lymphoma) participated in a Phase 2 Ibrutinib clinical trial and a Phase 1 CAR-T clinical trial.
