Qualitative study of Experiences of Services and Treatment (QuEST)
The University of Nottingham has received funding from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) -
Health Technology Assessment (HTA) programme to carry out a piece of research exploring the experiences of
young people living with Tourette syndrome. The research has two parts:
„h In the first part, parents/carers of young people (under 18 years old) with Tourette syndrome will be
asked to complete a short online survey about their views on treatment for tics. To find out more about

„h In the second part of the study, young people with Tourette syndrome aged 11-17 years will be
interviewed (usually over the phone) about their experiences of treatment for tics. To find out more
