Have your say on services and treatments for Tourette’s

Qualitative study of Experiences of Services and Treatment (QuEST)

The University of Nottingham has received funding from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) -

Health Technology Assessment (HTA) programme to carry out a piece of research exploring the experiences of

young people living with Tourette syndrome. The research has two parts:

? In the first part, parents/carers of young people (under 18 years old) with Tourette syndrome will be

asked to complete a short online survey about their views on treatment for tics. To find out more about

the survey please type this web address in your Internet browser:

surveymonkey.com/s/Quest_Su...

? In the second part of the study, young people with Tourette syndrome aged 11-17 years will be

interviewed (usually over the phone) about their experiences of treatment for tics. To find out more

about the interview please type this web address in your Internet browser:

surveymonkey.com/s/QuEST_In...

You can take part in the study even if you don’t live in or near Nottingham; we’re inviting participants across

the country.

If you have any questions about the study please contact Prof Chris Hollis at Chris.Hollis@nottingham.ac.uk or

at 0115 823 0258. For questions about the survey or the interview please contact Jose Cuenca at

Jose.Cuenca@nottingham.ac.uk or at 0115 748 4240.

Thank you for your help
